Four Chinese companies who want to shake the Tech World to Deepseek

The success of the Chinese AI company Deepseek shocked the financial markets and the major US technology companies in January 2025. But it should not have been surprising.

For decades, many companies in China have been developing competitive advantages that enable them to make remarkable progress. This includes a different strategy than many large Western companies that rely on things like branding – like Apple – and exclusive technology – like Nvidia – to be successful.

Instead, these less well -known Chinese companies have focused on delivering more innovation faster and cheaper. And our research suggests that they could achieve this by being much more adaptable to how they do business.

So Deepseek cannot be just as a gamuchanger. Here are four other Chinese companies that want to disturb the global economy in a similar way.

DJI innovations produced inexpensive drones that produce air photography and videos. The company was developed in 2006 by Frank Wang (who became the latest Tech billionaire at the age of 36 at the age of 36) and developed camera technology and software as well as technical drone systems that are used in industries such as agriculture and defense. His technology was used in the shooting of shows such as Better Call Saul and Game of Thrones.

The most modern research and development of DJI include highly developed automated assembly lines that earn more costs for less costs. This has led to a quick international expansion and foreign partnerships, which made the company a dominant player against whom it is difficult to compete against it.

A DJI innovation spin-off, which was founded in 2016, specializes in robotics in Unitree in high-performance quadrup and humanoid robots as well as components such as robot arms. These products contain artificial intelligence and have many applications in consumer and industrial markets.

In a sector in which progress can be slower than we could expect, rapid development cycles from UNTERREE – from the initial idea to development and test to commercialization – an advantage over the rivals. This cycle speed is achieved through highly digitized processes and large high -qualified development teams that many competitors present.

For example, one of the company’s humanoid robots (already able to solder and cook) set a new walking speed record of 3.3 meters per second. And in early 2025, the robots of the company carried out a traditional Yangko dance alongside people.

Game Science is a Chinese video game company that was founded in 2014. The publication of Black Myth: Wukong, an advanced role-playing game video game that is inspired by the classic Chinese trip to the novel to the west, is one of the fastest sales games ever.
